Structural Bamboo

Investigation of bamboo as a sustainable material used in a structural way. Beginning with experiments in joinery, the research was taken through many scales, including space frames, a panelized wall design, and a full scale mock up.

Daylight Simulation

A thorough investigation on the quantitative day light in a design prior to construction. The technique was to construct a physical scaled model of the space to be studied.

The winery project, sited on an existing vineyard in North Carolina, involved a precedent study, site analysis, and a deliberate design process, culminating in a comprehensive set of drawings and renderings.

Camp Lejeune Design Guide

Project Manager, Primary Author, Illustrator

This was a complete revision to an existing design guide for Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune and Marine Corps Air Station New River. Divided both installations into 13 major districts, each with distinct forms, materials and color palettes.
